You can choose from a Beachside setting that overlooks the sugar white sand beach and the blue-green waters of the Gulf of Mexico, or choose Northside, an equally beautiful location that features a seasonally heated indoor pool and kiddie pool, nestled in the shade of many types of exotic plants.  Both our Beachside and Northside locations share the same amenities for the maximum enjoyment of our guests.

Because the Palmetto is family owned and operated, every detail is taken care of to ensure that you have a wonderful stay. You’ll feel right at home with a complimentary daily newspaper, free local phone service, and free WIFI in every room.  A fully equipped kitchen gives you the option of preparing your meals in the comfort of your suite, or you can cook out on a gas barbecue grill under the pavilion.  If you prefer to dine out, you can try one of the many great restaurants located within a short distance of the Palmetto Inn & Suites.

Using Palmetto as your conveniently located home base, take time to explore the rest of Panama City Beach.  We are located just one mile from Pier Park where you’ll find a wide variety of shops, restaurants and movie theater.  Also located nearby is Ripley’s Believe it Or Not and Wonder Works; Zoo World, noted for its child-oriented exhibits and demonstrations; Gulf World Marine Park with daily performances by dolphins, sea lions and exotic birds; Frank Brown Park, a mega-sports complex where you can watch a baseball/softball or soccer tournament in progress. Go and visit St. Andrews State Recreation Area, a 1,260-acre park that’s great for snorkeling and swimming and just enjoying nature; charter a fishing boat; play a round of golf or take the children to a fun-filled miniature golf complex; dine out at a world class restaurant or grab a quick lunch at one of the colorful establishments frequented by the locals.  Go on an Airboat Adventure ride or take a tour to Shell Island and do some beachcombing. Whatever you seek for entertainment, you’ll find it in Panama City Beach.
