My husband and I were passing through Panama City Beach and wanted to stay a couple of days, we decided to check this place out, the desk clerk offered to show us the room (we were across the street from the main hotel which is on the beach) before we paid, but told her we would check out with a full refund if we didn’t like what we saw, the room was clean and smelled clean, we walked to the indoor pool area and found it to be very nice. We were very happy and stayed. When we go back we will only stay at the Palmetto for sure!

Just returned from PCB and enjoyed my stay at the Palmetto. It is located on the west end of PCB away from most of the new construction and high rise condos. It is great for families. There is a Winn-Dixie grocery store located within 200 yards and there are refrigerators in the rooms. There are also gas grills located on the property if you want to grill out. If you like to hang with the locals there is a great little bar within walking distance called the Y Not. They had live music and great prices compared to some bars located in the middle of the beach. If you are looking for a clean basic room with cable this is it. If you’re flying into town once at the Palmetto most things are within walking distance — beer, food, liquor, drug store, scooter rentals, and the best beach in Florida.

The Palmetto has been my family’s vacation spot of choice for about the past 13 years. Every year when I was a teenager we went here with my family, and now I go myself. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the new 7-floor building on the beachfront is GREAT. The entire staff is wonderful and the location is excellent. The hotel is away from the noise and congestion of “the strip,” but it’s just a few minutes up the road if you want to shop or eat out. The pool areas are clean and beautifully landscaped, and the beach is beautiful. There isn’t a better spot on the coast!

My family and I have stayed at the Palmetto for 18 years straight, ever since I was born, and my mom has never missed a summer at the Palmetto in almost 30 years. The Best Place in PC!

My husband & I just returned from PC and stayed at the Palmetto, we enjoyed our stay. Everyone was very nice, the front desk staff was wonderful and our room was very clean. The maid service was great, we never had to ask for towels or washcloths they were always left in our room. The last hotel we stayed in last year, we had to beg for these items. The pools and the patios were very clean. The view of the beach was breathtaking from our room. Thanks for a GREAT STAY.

My sister and I visited the Palmetto in October of 2008. We had a great time staying there. The heated pool was great as was the service. We would love to stay there again!

We just happened to choose Palmetto and fell in love with the place. We have been back 3 times in the past 2 years, and we are never disappointed. The view from each room is spectacular, and each room has full beach view. We always ask for the same room and they are happy to oblige. Rooms are always very clean. Both in the morning and in the evening you see them (staff and owners alike) cleaning up inside the main floor and washing down the pool area. There is a wonderful jacuzzi and on each side of the large deck area is a BBQ grill that you can use for yourself or a large family. Absolutely love the place and will always go back there. The staff has always been friendly and helpful in every way.

Twenty-one years ago I was introduced to the Palmetto and PCB. It has been an annual trip every year since. The hotel is clean and the staff is wonderful. The beach is the best and the view spectacular. If you have young ones this is a great place to stay too. I am counting the days until we return this year.

We stayed here for a week in July 2007, we absolutely loved it. Right on the beach, very affordable, friendly staff, and a great location. We do indeed look forward to going back, maybe summer of ’09.

Our stay at the Palmetto was wonderful. The staff was exceptional. They were very knowledgeable about the area, and very helpful. Each staff member did their best to make our stay a pleasure. The property was spotless, our room was immaculate, very nicely decorated and extremely comfortable. We really enjoyed the “family” atmosphere. The check in & check out process was hassle-free, and the whole experience is one my family will never forget. We hope to come back in mid-September. Thank you again.

We just returned from our stay at the Palmetto and could not have been more happy with our experience. What a clean, beautiful motel! The view was amazing! Your staff is so kind and helpful. We just felt so comfortable at your motel and would not consider anywhere else to stay next year.

GREAT! GREAT! etc. My sisters and my niece stayed there on Mother’s Day weekend and it was wonderful, I have never stayed anywhere that every staff member was very helpful and pleasant! We will be staying there from now on when we go to P.C.B. to stay. It is also clean, CLEAN. Thanks a bunch from the ladies in 7205.

This was our first stay with you and we loved it. The pool area is wonderful, rooms were clean and ready for us when we arrived. In fact, I will never forget the stay because I was given my engagement ring on the balcony! We will be back, it is a special place.

We stayed here for the first time July 2009, and LOVED IT! What a great place…clean, nice rooms… GREAT pool and hot tub and right on the beach! We will definitely stay here every time we come to Panama City Beach…can’t wait till next year!
